Just want to introduce myself....first CVO, 4th harley, and 32 years as a licensed rider. The bike was my 50th B-day present and i am extremely excited about it. I have upgraded the exhaust to Vance & Hines (power duals full exhaust) and the SERT tuner. I replaced the white synthetic media filter with the red K&N filter...and to be honest I am done with chrome and other stuff. This is my 4th harley, 3rd touring bike and 2nd fairing bike. My other ride is my trusty XR1200 Sportster, an awesome commute,r than does double duty as my sport/tourer and occasional long distance rider having done multiple trips to the Texas Hill country and 2 trips to Alabama from Texas (these are 1,000 mile+ r/t weekenders). I hope to learn from the more experience CVO owners and make new friends. I am familiar with my bikes and car engines and attached components (no heavy/complex stuff though....that is what extended warranty is for) but all scheduled maintenance and R&R is not a problem.....I ride my bikes and interstate touring is my passion.....been lucky as hell to have enjoyed taking my bikes from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean and from the Texas border to South Dakota, southeast, southern, southwest, west, and central states.
