S&s 585 cam in a 14 SE breakout Dyno sheet attached
« on: May 10, 2014, 12:34:41 AM »

Very surprised with how quick torque came on. I had expected the pipe and cam combo to produce lower torque. My butt dyno still feels some hesitation I hope can be tuned out. Not sure if bigger throttle body& injectors would help.  I believe the cam is similar to the SE 259

Green pull was the last

S&s 585 cam
S&s premium lifters
Screaming eagle 10.5 piston
Bassani pro street pipe

What do ya think??

Fix the sheet or send it to me/someone to fix it

I would bet you have a tick more than 10.5-1

10.4-10.75 depending on the head gasket thickness. .052, .045, 030 respectively

That would be 10.5 with the pistons down .004 and 96cc head chambers.

Yep, straightforward combo.
The .570 at 10.0 cr is the not-so-little brother of that dyno chart.

Any suggestions on hesitation?  Should I tune again or throttle body/injectors?  Thanks for the help!  Might just be in my head?  It's a throttle by wire bike.

Too big to view without scrolling back and forth.  1024 pixels wide is a good size for most laptops and desktops.   Parts of the chart are cut off, some of which is caused by it being crooked.

I can resize and straighten it for you, but can't retrieve the parts of the chart that are missing.

Btw, if the green trace is the last, I'd love to know why the AFR is so lean.  A true WOT fuel ratio in the 15's is way too lean.  You might want to question the guy who did the tune about that.

Thanks jerry, I've tried to adjust. The guy doing the tune didn't give the bike or me the attention deserved for my $$ or time after doing the motor work. Can't say about the afr and no sense getting mad again by trying to have a discussion.

Looking for a tuner in western pa or eastern ohio. Thanks again for help, not sure where to turn.

Ask some of the pro's on the site for recommendations for a good full time professional tuner.

Note on the chart the dates of the various runs, all of which occurred before your 2014 bike was built I imagine.  Also note the original run results of 69 horsepower and 75 torque.  A bone stock 110 will easily outperform that, so lord only knows where he got that run from.  I'd pretty much question that entire chart, as it may not even be for your bike.
