Anyone use Ultima TC 3.875" Cylinders?
« on: May 13, 2014, 04:09:34 PM »

Has anyone used the Ultima 3.875" Twin cam Cylinders?  has anone seen them before? HD has 3.875" cylinders for 240 a set that is actually cheaper than getting the TC88 cylinders bored out. S&S are expensive so i was looking into alternative cyclinders. I can get a set of Ultimas for 440 a pair. I was wondering if the cylinders have more fins or if the spigot depths are the same, They shoild be the same height, Part # 93-878 and 93-879 black TC cylinders
Thanks

John Sachs has done a fair amount of work with them.

I think those cylinders are a different length than the factory, designed for ULTIMAS 100" package

On the site it states you could bore your old cylinders or use theirs. I would think that if you could use your old boated out then they are the same hieght. Lotsif times the change the piston crown height to make it work out
