I don't even think I know how to read a tire. Bothe the Dunlop & Metzeler have a rating of 74, I thought that was load rating. Somebody educate my country azz! Thanks.

I'm not sure about the number but the letter after it should be the speed rating -- H=130MPH and the Dunlop 407 is rated for 1019 Lbs at 42Psi per their website, They show that as an 81H load/speed rating. The other stuff like 180/65B16 as in the case of my 11.5 CUSE6 can be translated as follows, 180=width/ 65=aspect ratio(or the ratio between sidewall height and the width, so the tire is 65% of the width tall 180 mm wide/ 117 mm tall - if that makes sense) B=Bias ply construction - an R would be a Radial tire and the last number is the wheel/rim size. all this stuff is right on the side wall and is fairly standard in the tire industry.

Riding Avon tires.  But since I'm living in Canada, 'cheap' is not a word we use when talking about tires...    :(

He gave me 15% off. I had them do the rear brakes while tire was off. Total was $430
