If you are going with gears, you need to do some work on the crank, its loose as a goose.

.570's and have your heads machined to establish 10.0 cr. :2vrolijk_21:
Gear-drives are great...................as long as your pinion shaft TIR is in check.

57H unless you are going to pump $1500 in the bottom end fixing the factory runout problem like jimmy said.

x2 on what Scott said.  570 set at 10:1 compression.  Unless you're going into the bottom end, stick with chain driven cams

Are you looking for a bolt in cam ?

If so...

Neither of those cams will make the average power that  a Dragos 580,Kury 24D or GMR 577 will and all three cams will work well with head upgrades in the future as well as an increase in compression.

I would not install a gear driven cam without having the crankshaft done.

Many direct bolt in cams that will work fine with out any increase in compression. The 570 is a ok cam  but its not great, and from what we have seen with back to back testing with the stock 255 cam against the 570 is just a ho hum bolt in cam.. Nothing against it just stating what it really does when tested.  Sure it gets better with an increase in compression but back to the point other cams do better that it with a direct swap

I would find a shop that does EFI dyno tuning in house and ask them for some real world testing they have done. Always nice to hear from the shop you are going to be working with directly. As well they may have a great kit already in place.  :2vrolijk_21:

Good luck with you build

Chain drive is all that is needed.
Gears do produce more power via timing accuracy as we did back/back testing on that well over a decade ago.
