Does anyone know if you can go to York to see your CVO when it comes off the line? Not just the factory tour routine, but actually be able to inspect it when it's completed. Thanks. Hoist!

Hoist, I am not sure.  But all the times I've been to the York facility they would not let anyone back in the CVO area.  I would think the odds of being able to see your bike being assembled would be very, very slim.

I wouldn't swear to it but I seem to recall a group of CVO riders from this site arranged a tour of the CVO line.

If they let you see excalty how that were put together,  then you wouldn't what to buy it

After reading about some of the different QC issues, I thought it would be good to look at it before it left the plant, before they crate it. I'm gonna ask my dealer. Maybe they can set up the visit. Probably a pipe dream though. Hoist!

i did get to tour the CVO plant at 2004
it was great maybe i had a bonus as german

I was with Screamn and a couple of others as we toured the CVO plant.  You can arrange tours of that area through your dealership ----- there is a number that needs to make it happen. Individual, I doubt it completely.  As for being there on the day your bike is going through the plant, they won't let you get close enough to do the kind of inspecting you are wanting.  Just inspect if real good before taking delivery.   ;)

Good luck, it has to be worth the effort. For $35K you should be flown up to see it at no charge.

You would think they could set up a fly and ride program similar to high end European car makers to see your car/scoot come off line and take it home!!
