Newbie Question
« on: December 04, 2006, 07:44:17 PM »

How do you Hi-Lite certain parts of a quote when you are replying to a post? Do you just click and drag to Hi-Lite and then reply?
Thanks in advance to whoever points me into the right direction.

Quote the message. Click and drag across the text you want to emphasize. Release and click on the yellow "H". Same thing for underline, bold, font, size.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Hdguy,
When you hit the reply button you will see a field that says "Add YaBBC tags" (picture below). Click on the H and it will put highlight tag in, then click in between the ][ and type what you want and it will be hightlighted.

HDguy,

Use your left button on your mouse and click and hold over the beginning of what you'd like to high light. Move the cursor, holding the left button, over the text. When you get to the end of the text you want to high light, let go of the left button. While the text is high lighted, go up to Yellow "H" and click on it.

Give that a shot,
Ed

Got stuck on the phone....never mind... [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Now if you want to "quote" someone what you need to do is in there post on the top right you will see "quote". Click on that and a box will appear with what they have said. Just remember to type what you want outside of the their "quote" field.

Good stuff.  I was wondering how to do this stuff myself and now I've had my questions answered without even asking.  Gotta like that.
