My new bike
« on: May 20, 2014, 06:50:35 PM »

I'm not a new member but I just got a new bike which is not a CVO -  it the nicest thing I've ever owned though. I'll continue to look at this site since it has the most interesting, intelligent motorcycle people in the world. I'll try to post a few pictures of my bike now

You have maybe taken the "long way" around, but you have everything but a CVO sticker!   :coolblue:

That is one sweet ride!

There are a lot of great things about CVOs, but there is certainly a lot of satisfaction in building / buying just what you want.

Congrats

I've had a couple of CVO's - 2007 CVO Softtail Springer, and 2012 CVO Softtail Convertible - traded my 2014 Ultra Limited in on this after only having it for 2 months. Custom paint by Joe Martin out of Austin. Probably the last bike of my life, as I'll be 68 in a couple of months, and decided that for once in my life I wanted to get the bike of my dreams. Saw it, bought it, now will ride it until I can't ride, then probably just leave it in the garage and start it once a week to hear it until it goes to my son. I've been a lot of places and done a lot of things, but I've never had anything give my heart the peace and happiness that riding a motorcycle gives, just being by myself on an empty country road does - the sights, the sounds, the smells -its truly heaven on earth. I don't think that anyone that has never been on a motorcycle can know the feeling. I've been blessed.
