Looks to be the making of a long term relationship - time for a trailer for the bike
I hope they'll be a good pairing for each other. Juno (the dog here first) needed a buddy her own size. A few of the Greyhound GTGs taught me that. The little dogs of my moms that predated Juno were too often just disregarded. But Juno really liked meeting the big boys at the GTGs.
The first day Juno was, maybe, a little jealous. Juno loves to go for her walks and loves her several minute runs around the yard a couple of times a day. Aside from that, however, she is the laziest dog I have ever had

. So when the new boy came in and, despite being the same age, seemed to still have a little playful puppy left in him Juno seemed a bit flummoxed by the new activity and the way Marley came for extra attention as he was trying to find his way around the new house.
A couple of long walks together on their leashes helped that a lot though. By 24 hours in they were running together in the yard and she was going out of her to engage with him. First night at home together they slept at separate ends of the house. Second night in they were together on the same pile of dog pillows. So all is good dogville
