Obligatory first post - I've just become the second owner of a 2007 FXSTSSE in Abyss Blue / Blue Pearl. Traded an 06 FXSTSI. The swap was hard because I was giving up my Springer. At the same time it was easy to swallow because I was trading one Springer for another Springer; an SE Springer. Bonus.
This one is near stock CVO configuration and low miles with just over 9K. Overall appears to be a very clean bike. Still has reflectors mounted on the front end! Who keeps those?! Only mod was a seat swap using the king/queen combo from the 07 FXSTC combined with the twisted sissy bar upright and matching twisted bobtail rack. Deal included OEM SE seat so I can take it back to stock CVO is I choose.
Exhaust and LED light conversions are on order. I am only anticipating a few other minor upgrades beyond the lights, exhaust, and tune. Color-matched front spoiler and chrome switch caps make the short list. With a $24,995 MSRP (2007 dollars), I assumed Harley could have thrown in chrome switch caps but alas......no. I guess I can spring the $21.95 since they missed that detail. Honestly can't envision any other mods but I do have a set of 12.5" Wild1 Chubby Apes in case I get crazy for apes again.
I found the post here that detailed how many of each year/model/color were produced. From that it indicated there are only 991 total 07 FXSTSSE produced in this color. Does anyone know if there is a way to determine what number my bike is (i.e. #123 OF 991)?
