FAILED MOTOR

2013 CVO FLHT DIED today , had a little noise when riding it. Stop for a beer went to start it and clang clang NO GO waiting for the shop to call me back on what is all wrong with it. WILL KEEP YOU ALL TUNED. PS at least it made to RIB FEST. ONLY HAD 11600 miles on it.

OH NO my fault, washer some how was left in new air filter that I installed. Maybe 120R now ?????? This washer went into the piston and head.

What washer is there that could be left on the inside of the air cleaner when changing a filter?

They should be able to repair that w/o breaking the bank.

At most you might need a new piston, jug, and head.  I don't think that will add up to enough to justify that new 120R, if that's what you're shooting for. ;D

Holy Crap! That REALLY Sucks!

You could opt for a S&S 124 in black then disassemble it and have it coated in Granite!
