Help with part Identification
« on: May 29, 2014, 10:13:05 PM »

New to the site so..... be gentle..lol   I was have issues with my SESS, lagging at steady state throttle.  Looking for tips I visited the site as a guest got some great tips on fuel filter, lines with pin holes and a few other things to check, well I took the filter assy out of the tank and in process of removing the fuel line that goes to the QD I broke off the plastic nipple  >:( on the piece the filter goes into,

What is that piece called and what is its function.

Make sure I understand what you're describing.  You're needing the plastic piece that the end of the fuel filter slides inside of?  The fuel line comes off the other end of the fuel filter.  What broke is the piece that the filter slides inside of and there's an o-ring that seals the filter to this plastic piece?

If so that's the housing for the fuel pressure regulator.  Is it part # 62373-01 and is less than twenty bucks.

That would be it! Thanks. I also realized there was a pin hole in the fuel line to the QD. Hopefully between changing the filter (had good amount of debris pour out) and the line my lagging issue will be solved.
