Looking for a gps that I can get weather on and my choices are the Road Tech Zumo 665 or the new Garmin Zumo 590LM. I know the 665 gets the weather provided by Sirius XM satellite radio service and the 590 uses an app on a smart phone via bluetooth for its weather.
What I don't know aboutweather on the 590 is if this is a subscription or a one time charge and how much in either case. And when running the app on the phone does that use data time. If so that could run up a cell phone bill pretty quickly I think.
One negative against the 590 is I don't think it is compatible to the moco navigation interface module so voice prompt turn directions would not come through the nim. I doubt there will be a 'road tech' version of the 590 now that the moco has its own wonderful built in gps in its new infotainment system.
