New CVO owner from Oregon

My name is Krista and I am a new CVO from Eugene, Oregon. I am the owner of a 2012 CVO Street Glide with 600 miles on it, by way of a divorce settlement. My ex-husband and I had a bitter divorce and when it came time to negotiate our settlement, I think to be difficult, he suggested that I get the bike. I just wanted it over with so I accepted the offer..

Initially I was unsure how to sell the bike, where to sell it, etc. Then one of my friends suggested to me that I don't HAVE to sell it and I should keep it! So I have taken the MSF Course in April, and plan to do just that ..... keep the bike!!

So far I have put about 100 miles on the bike and boy is she fun to ride. Currently I am in Maui, Hawaii visiting friends for a few weeks. When I get back, and if I can build up the courage, in July I plan to ride down to California and maybe Nevada , Utah , and Colorado to explore and clear my head and make a fresh start.  I would like to meet other Harley riders , male or female, along the way.

Looking forward to making many new friends via this web site.

Welcome aboard from Minnesota! Glad you've joined the fun. Interesting story! Hope you enjoy learning to ride. I'm sure nothing would bug your ex more than you enjoying the h*ll out of his ex- bike.

Welcome to the site from The Lowcountry of South Carolina. I can see the look in your ex's eye when he sees you enjoying YOUR new ride. You traded a husband for a motorcycle, that is a great deal.
