A Special request
« on: June 01, 2014, 03:36:08 PM »

Hi Guys,

you know, German People are very, very rich and so HD Rules are, "No HD Sell is allowed to sell outside USA, especially German".
But, the relaity was a little different and we have to pay much much more as you guys...

So, I have a question.

I would have some original Parts, found on Surdyke, maybe other is possible. I have a Shipito Adress.
So, is anybody here to buy this things and sent it to my Shipito adress for a "good Tip"?

Payment is Bank wired. Please PM.

I have a Sister in Texas, but she has to many stress at this moment and so, she can do it, but erliest in 1-2 month.... Too late for the Season.

Best regards
Ralph

All she would have to do is re-address the box and take it to the USPS. How far does she live from the PO???????

Ralph, don't believe you will have any takers for your offer here on the site.  For one, your request sure sounds fishy whether you mean it to or not.  With all the internet scammers out there these days, probably not a good idea to sound like one in your request.... ;D

Utilize your "sister" in Texas and wait the extra 1-2 months.

after you cash it.

I have same issue in Bahrain I can't order any HD parts or Scoot direct from any HD suppliers in USA, dealer is charging us a lots extra than the original price, however, I have managed to overcome this issue, I am dealing with export company in taxes which they supply me with vehicles parts, the gays out there were so kinds to help me out, I send them the part number…..Within 5 days shipment in front of my garage.

Easy now........ remember English is not his first language.  If you or I tried you try typing in German it probably wouldn't come out very accurately either.  I think if Ralph was along time member of the forum with an established reputation more people might be willing to jump in to help.

Heck an 18"x10"x10" package weighing 15Lbs (I just made up some figures to get an estimate on the USPS site)will cost $90 US to ship to Germany via USPS. Is the dealer markup that high that this is cost effective?? especially with bulkier/heavier items  :nixweiss:

Ralph,
If you are close to a US military installation, and/or have an American friend who can help you, that would be your best option.  Parts can be sent via US mail to an APO address, which is cheaper than using the DP. Some years back, my German riding buddies used this method.

Parts are X 2 over there. I brought back HD accesories and some airplane stuff and as long as they can avoid the 25% VAT it is a huge savings.
