King Tour Pak Question
« on: June 03, 2014, 12:05:24 PM »

Hello,
I am looking for the following, does anyone have any suggestions where I might find such and animal?????

HD OEM King Tour Pak in Vivid Black or Gloss Black - NO pre-drilled holes or hardware..........

I don't know if they are molded with the holes for hardware or they are added after.  Several companies I have found offer them in black but they have the hardware on them already or are pre-drilled.

I want to install the lock and latches on the front, and hinges on the rear for a specific application of use for the tour-pak if I can find one.  Essentially, I want to fashion this TP on a frame to insert into my trailer hitch, an additional box for traveling (like an extended trailer) for lighter stuff, when a trailer is just to much...........

Thanks
Mark

check out http://a1hardbags.com/index.php they have deep discounts for slightly flawed paint issues. located in Cali. They also have the wraparound passenger back rest and the chrome top rack as well as all mounting brackets cheap cheap.

You may want to check e-bay and any swap meets for a used one. Some of the older ones would probably work for what you are doing. I think some of the 60's & 70's trunks opened from the back.

Consider one from a Vic CCT.  They're hinged at the front.
