I don't know crap about your SERT question for European models but I sure would like to ride that pass you posted.

Cheers and good luck with your problem.

Hey Moe that pass is one of the best I have crossed. What you can see is only the unforested part of the pass, where the road disappears in the distance a whole new section of hairpins starts and goes way down through the Treeline for about another 5 or 6 miles. We were lucky and had a beautiful blue sky day the day we crossed it. There are plenty more where that one came from as well.

Here's another pic. without yours truly blocking the view.

Hey Dood - Thanks for the resize. I just figured out how to resize to 800 x 600 on my computer, but ya beat me to it.

Never mind I'll know now for the future.

Here's another one to see if I have the hang of it !!

To the attention of the specialists,

First question :
What part manage the engine codes ?

The second question will depend of this answer...

Thanks.

Hey Bis,

Not quite sure what you mean here, but I think you are talking about the SERT. As far as I know so far the part no. for the European Spec. SERT is 32136-06A. This little beauty should see to your engine remap and then we need to add an A/F and a set of pipes.

Did I get what you meant ?

When we went to Cripple Creek last summer 14,110 feet there were bicycle riders amking the ascent.

Do they ride that pass?

Great pics by the way.

If you look about 30 yards behind the car, near to the first gap in the wall, you can see a bicycle rider coming up. The Europeans are fanatical Bicycle riders and it doesn't matter how high or steep the passes are they are always riding them.

Re my earlier post for the V&H FuelPak. Just had this reply from Scott Takata, V&H Tech Support:

"Currently, we are looking to obtain a European bike for testing. So we should have something for you in the near future. Please check back with us every couple of weeks"

The European models are made on Monday mornings and Friday after lunch, that way the warranty problems are far away. ;D

I had a word with Kevin in Just Harleys about the V & H pipes and he told me that they were expecting information sometime toward the end of December. That would seem to concur with what Scott told you Al.

Dave Cook told me the other day that he has ordered a set of Rhineharts for his SEUC and a PC so I'm presuming they at least have their chit together for over here.

I look forward to hearing what Scott has to say as I am still leaning toward a set of V & H Big Shot True Duals - but maybe with the quieter baffle that they have. My current Big Shots make my ears sing after 3 or 400 miles in the saddle !

Hey Jimp. Sorry to burst your bubble, but they made all the U.S.A. bikes before they started making any European bikes ! Seems like you guys have to go through all the hard work sorting out the mods etc. before they let em loose on us.

So thanks for being the Guinea Pigs !!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
