Sorry, my friends but I understand not your references !

Ahog wrote : European Spec. SERT is 32136-06A
Dogols reply 32136-06A kit is the EFI Race Fueler.

EFI Race Fueler is not the same part than SERT, IMHO !
Please, explain me, I have not all understand !

Thanks
Jacques

Hey Jacques - sorry that is my fault. The part 32136-06A is a SERF not a SERT.

Sorry about that.

Ok! It's clear but did you think that the SERF will replace the SERT for european bikes ?
It's not the same application. [smiley=confused5.gif]

I think that the first step is the SERT and second (eventually) it's the SERF.
Is it right ?

As far as I see it the SERF is a more basic application which gives you better fuel delivery enabling your engine to run more efficiently and give you better fuel delivery.

The SERT is a full tuner which reclibrates your ECM and enables you to complete many more mods to your bike.

If I'm wrong on this will somebody jump in.

Hey Hoist - I think it's taken me about a week to come to this conclusion ! I'm hoping that by the time my new Serk arrives that the mapping codes will be sorted for the European bikes and that somebody else will have become "THE GUINEAPIG" before I start to shell out the filthy lucre.

I'm sure that our stuff will piggyback yours, we just have to wait a little longer.

Nige

I've had it planned for a while, and have researched it pretty thoroughly, Nige.  V&H True Dual Headers, SE filter kit, and the clever bit is..... replace the ECU with a ThunderMax with the O

Hiya Hoist , I'm doin just Tickety Boo thanks !

Not too sure what you mean about the Flapper Eliminators ( being dense no doubt ! ) do you mean the flapper valve that they have put on the exhaust system this year ?

You mentioned it on a previous post and I thought that was what you were referring to.

If it is that does that then represent some more problems for me to get round ?

 :-? :-/

Nige

Right Nige. I was talking about the A/C and muffler valves you guys have to deal with, in my own "flippant way"! ::) Flapper Eliminators were my WA Yankee Way of comparing them to the O2 Eliminators Dynojet uses with the PCIII on the '07's, to fool the ECM about the O2 sensor feedback. I'm not sure if you need to deal with that or if those valves report to the ECM at all. If so you probably have to deal with that. I think that's what Equons is referring to about not worring about with TMax. But he won't keep that 2 Year Warranty! We'll see what the experts here know or try checking with Dynojet. It might determine, however, whether you can use a US version. [smiley=confused5.gif] Hoist!

Hi Eq - have we ever met? Are you in A scottish Chapter ? I bet our paths have crossed at some time.

You're definitely ahead of the English with your new SEUC, there are 4 on order from Just Harleys in Newcastle and none have arrived as yet.

Your first two mods. re the V & H Duals and the SE Filter are pretty much as everyone else seems to be opting for. Your ECU replacement with the Thundermax is definitely not. As our good friend Hoist says - bye bye 2 year HD Warranty. Guess you'll have to keep your fingers crossed and hope for smooth runnings.
