Very pleased with the dyno results
« on: June 14, 2014, 04:30:33 PM »

I've only had my 2014 CVO Breakout for 2 weeks and I was really struggling with an exhaust for the bike. I finally took a chance on a set of Bassani Pro-Street Turn Outs and had Harley-Davidson of Tampa do the install, add the S.E. Pro Super Tuner and dyno tune the bike and the results are... Max Power = 95.18 and Max Torque = 112.67. It really carries the power and torque well throughout the R.P.M. range and these Bassani's sound bad to the bone, best sounding pipes I've ever had on a bike, Bassani has a customer for life. I couldn't be happier with the results. As an added bonus, the bike feels like it's running about 100 degrees cooler.  ;D

I'm glad to hear you like your Bassanis.  Those are big numbers for just a pipe and tune.  Even though it was a completely different pipe, I had a Bassani B4 and my last bike, and really miss it.  I couldn't find much info on the forums about Bassani, but they make a great product.

Be safe!

I have the same bike (color) and same pipes and same race tuner. Just had a dyno tune with 87 HP and 107 torque. Looks like you got the better mechanic. How many runs did you get. I only had one.

What were your initial numbers before the final run?

Here you go RoadDawg. Hope this helps. I'm also adding it as a pdf below. I don't have any idea how many runs I got. My friend Richie is the service manager, we've know each other for over 10 years and I know he definitely took care of me but, beyond that, I think it also depends on how much dyno tuning knowledge and experience the tech and the dealership has as well. I know that my buddy has a blue 2014 FXSBSE and he has the V & H B.R. 2-2's on his bike and he was disappointed with his dyno numbers as well but I blame most of it on the V & H's. Oh, and let me add that he had the work done at a different dealership.

Ok it looks like you had a dyno run but not a tune. You should have an initial run that shows what your power and torque was before the tun and final run...correct? Great numbers on your final! Nice!

Looks good, I only got 95/95. But I'm at 4000 feet evelation and 102 degrees. I should have went with the basssani instead of the V&H. I'm going to play with the big city baffles to see if it can pull a few more horses!!! But looking good!!!!

Dealer told me Vance and Hines big radius are not good for numbers. No back pressure, I think.

Nothing like unlocking the extra ponies that H-D leave behind.  ;D

Enjoy it for now, as soon you will be thinking about wrangling some more ponies! It's a never ending battle only confined by the size of your wallet.
