I watched all the Isle of Man races on television a week or so ago.  The electric motorcycle race was one of the most interesting.  (The sidecars were scariest.)  On the electric bike race start, the higher technology bikes accelerated very impressively.  Others not so much.  I'm sure that in time, just like with cars, there will be options to buy all electric motorcycles and they will prove to be very functional. 

Best thing is the lifters will last forever!  :)

Voltage regulators however may be another story  :oops:
