Just in case anybody was unaware , the pins used for attaching the saddle bags on stock serk 2008 bags are longer than those used on standard hard bag bikes. I learned the hard way by losing one of my hard bags that i bought to replace the stock leather ones on the freeway one night ( I'm guessing i wasn't getting a tight fit with the longer pins with my hard bags and they vibrated loose.). So i go to purchase some new pins which were lost that night also, and get home to put back on my stock bags and the pins they sold me were too short. The guys at the dealership didn't even know. They just sold me a set of standard pins. Come to find out, they do have a different part # and are a slight bit longer. They had to order them. So be careful. I took a 500.00 loss because of it.
