If they sold bike to you with mods, they should have know ESP would not be valid.  You should have a discussion with the dealer about this money back as they sold you ESP on a bike that would never be covered and they should have known since they did the mods.  Don't leave until you get money back.  If you don't get anywhere, have the ESP company send you the registration form.  I bet the dealer filled it out and likely claimed there were no mods on the bike, which mods they did.

Also contact a lawyer, get the lawyers card, and drop that card off at the stealer and tell them they will be contacted soon. I bet they will capitulate on the spot.

Me and a buddy were on our way to Tennessee last week. Stopped a dealer to get some air for my buds rear tire. The dealer refuse to put air in his tire for him. This is the dealer that he bought his 40,000. SE Street Glide from a month ago. Just shows what scum bags they are. ( this is Jacocks in Ontario Canada )

We were on our way to Toronto on a trip a few years ago and were rolling thru Sudbury, Ontario.  A riding companion wanted the air checked in his tires - we stopped at the Sudbury Harley Dealership.  He received the same treatment, the dealer would not check his air pressure, even when he offered to pay a half hour service labor.  While they were arguing, I walked over to a technician and asked if I could borrow the air tire gauge from his front shirt pocket.  He smiled and handed it to me.  I checked the air, actually added a bit and thanked the technician, and we went on our way...  I couldn't understand it.  There were nine in our group - 5 bikes.  Had it gone better, I'm sure we would have at least acquired a tee shirt or two...

(We did stop at the nickel mine in Sudbury - fantastic, interesting tour!)

I can't imagine a dealer not wanting to help a rider with something a simple as air for the tires!!!  Back in '04 my friend bought a leftover 03 SERK (and paid too much for it) at a local dealer. 3 weeks later we went riding on a Sunday and he asked me to bring his bike in the following day for some mods since he would be out of town. The bike was dead when I got to his house...I jumped it and rode to the dealer and told them while they were working on it to check the battery since it was just dead. They told me since he did not have a battery tender that they could not warranty it!! The bike sat in the showroom for 6 months without a tender and it dies 3 weeks after he buys it and no warranty?? I had to walk out before I lost it-----he later called and argued and they gave him a battery.....needless to say I don't buy anything there......

It's that "H-D" branded one of a kind "hot air/BS" patented air that only "some" dealerships (stealerships) can provide. ::) >:(

Many dealers, regardless of franchise, seem to take on the persona of the franchisor.  So it's not hard at all for me to understand how so many Harley dealerships are oblivious to proper customer service.  Take a look at the arrogance of the mother ship, and it's easy to see where the dealers get it from.  Thankfully there are some dealers who managed to avoid falling into the MoCo mold.  People need to seek those dealers out and give them their business, and shun the azzholes.  Sadly, not enough people get the word prior to being victimized by one of the azzholes.

One of the the complaints about the Indians is the lack of a dealer network.  I would rather have a small dealer network with service then a large one without service and does not care about any customer that walk through door.

That is what my friend said about his new Victory until it blew up on a trip with only 2100 miles and had a hard time finding anyone who would even work on it.
