Those are nice. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Better be careful what you ask around this OCD/SEO crowd you might just be in the machine shop until the cows come home producing all the orders you get. ;D

Give us some more specifics on material being used, and approximate cost.

Billet aluminum material and i am going to check on a price for chroming them, also might eventually change the back side for other cvo serks.
thanks.
they will be a little pricey because of the maching on the front and back
300.00+ range.

For the material you are using and having them chromed that price isn't that bad for a "custom" latch. The MoCo is stamping out millions of their billet latches and cost half that much. Let us see the finished product when you have them available I'm sure you'll get some interest here. BTW - Personally I think that design would look good on any "Screamin' Eagle" bagger that has the hard bags. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

SCRM, are yours a one-off or a vendor available item somewhere?
They are one-off.  I found a vendor that machines them from billet aluminum.  He sold them to me in raw, unpolished form, and I had them polished, engraved, chromed and the engraving filled with paint.

BTW, how's the motor work coming?
Thanks for the comments on the latch covers.  I like them too, but I sure do like the looks of the one above.  As far as the motor work, I'm waiting on Zipper's, which is where it's been for about three weeks now.  They are machining the cases and installing the Timken bearing.  Heads and cylinders have been diamond cut, all other parts are here and everything else is waiting on the cases to return.  Shouldn't be long now...have my fingers crossed.  Bad thing for me is, it's been beautiful riding weather around here, but that's about to change.  We have our coldest weather of the season here today.  Highs in the high 40's and low tonite of 20.  Brrrrrrr....
