New Member Here - Bought a "Switchblade"!

Hello everyone!

So after selling all my toys to put the money towards the company(s) I have been building, I finally was able to get myself back on an HD. Whew! That REALLY sucked for awhile there, lol!!! Now that I am able to answer the questions that always stuck me in the back like a jagged knife having to answer no, "Cool shirt! You got a Harley?". Well now I can again say YES!! Thank God. My choice for the comeback asphalt trophy? A 2001 FXDWG2 Switchblade, and she is a bute!! What do ya'll think???  ;D

Thank you Owl! Those bags were the finishing touch for me. He had them made specifically to match the seat with the ostrich inlays and used the red piping to match the bike. They actually look as if they were a part of the original set up and not an aftermarket add on, ya know what I mean? Very cool. I have never been much on the Dyna versions myself as they felt too compact in the seating area for me. But the way they laid out this bike makes it fit like a glove. Although I appreciate the reliability and consistency at altitude of the injected bikes, I have a love for the basics of the carb motors so for the first one back in the stable, this was the perfect choice. Can't wait to put a few hundred miles on it this weekend!  :)

This may be of interest to you.
Attending a GTG is the best way to get to know the members and put a face to those screen names. Many a lasting friendship have come out of these GTG's,
