A skilled rider on a Wing outperforms an equally skilled rider on any HD any day.

Don't kid yourself our bikes does not perform well in the handling area.

And no you will not have to take your feet of the pegs on a Wing. Anyone that does that needs training.

I have had many bike and still have a 1980 750K to play but I ride the CVO all the time. Each bike has pros and cons. Overall I love the Haleys for the look, the sound and the solid feel each one has. I think Goldwings are nice as well but the Harleys have character and stand out! I wish I could have all kinds of bikes to meet my needs but since I can't I pick the one(s) that meet what I want overall the best. Some bikes clearly feel top heavy. I know there are lots of factors including how the overall bike is set up. Overall bikes will handle differently and that may be expressed in being top heavy!  I do try to avoid dropping my bikes and will try harder not to as I get older. I will never see 140 unless I am on my way out of this world! Variety is the spice of life!   ;D

I currently have #7 street legal bikes and #3 of them are tour bikes and I prefer my late model goldwing over all of them and I am a very aggressive rider, On my wing I put my air ride up and drag the frame off in corners and my feet never drag....I have never heard of that one....

Just google the yellow goldwing on the tail of the dragon---It is all about the rider

I have taken classes from Motorman Mike---but I still can not ride like this dude---I do not weigh enough to re-distribute my weight

I like what i like and do you too but trying to decide which is "better" is like me telling you my wife is better than yours. :D  :D I see this a bit on the car sites also where people are trying to say which is better, Aston Martin, Bentley or Porsche?

The Gold Wing is a nice bike but so is the HD.

Yup, that dude can ride. Also obviously knows that particular road very well. I know that after a few trips down a particular road I can get more aggressive and start pushing the pace.

I would agree... I'm guessing he has some racing experience/training. :nixweiss: I can remember one time in my younger years riding like that... but I was young, dumb, and full of.... :D :D Now that I'm older, broke up, with artificial parts I tend to be a tad bit more conservative. :)

Hondas are well made motorcycles and will out perform a Harley in a few categories...I have owned two in my day. But nothing touches the soul like a Harley.

The guy on the yellow wing is most likely "yellow wolf", somewhat of a legend on GL forums and at Deals Gap. The goldwing is an interesting bike. Out of the box, the weight is similar and the RW numbers are only slightly higher than our 110's.  Their lean angle however is over 8 degrees greater. Unfortunately their wheelbase is over 2" longer and the handlebar lock to lock is less than HD's making them poor candidates for cone courses and tight maneuvering.
