Took the 2014 SERK to the top of Pikes Peak

3395 miles round trip.   Detroit suburbs - Columbus, OH - Cinci - Louisville - St Louis - Kansas City - Denver - Pikes Peak - and back...   Bike ran great.   Slapped the CFRs on before I left.   Had to hide out as some storms passed but had quite an adventure.

With any luck I'll have the Switchblade at the top of Pikes Peak by noon on the 29th of this month. Then it's onto the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Million Dollar Hwy., Durango, Telluride, the Gateway car museum, Steamboat Springs, RNMP and on to Sturgis for a few days.

Thanks for sharing your trip. Looking forward to the view.

Looks like you stopped and got some of our famous BBQ.  Arthur Bryant's is quite good, but we have a ton of great places in KC.  BB's Lawnside is a roadhouse that serves BBQ and live Blues every evening except Mon.  Give them a try next trip.  The Burnt end are fantastic.

Thanks for the tip.  We live 4.5 hours North of KC and love BBQ.
