CFR Exhaust on a 14 CVO
« on: July 03, 2014, 10:30:21 PM »

Love the look and the deep sound.   I'm not 100% sure I lost any power on the low end.   It is tough to tell from the seat of the pants test.   Tried Supertrapp Stouts, Fullsac 2" cores and now CFR.   These pipes are drastically louder than either of the slipons that I had before.   On stock head pipes.

One of the BEST sounding slip ons that I have ever heard.

Downside: one of the WORST slip ons to tune I have heard of.

By no means knocking your choice OP. I think they sound awesome!

They look really nice, I haven't pulled the trigger on new pipes yet.  I am still undecided on what to get.

I personally have cfr's on my 2012 cvo road glide "Skunk" awesome pipes. I pulled them off my 09 street glide. I have sold at least 6 or more sets at the deslership when I come pulling in popping them off. I've never noticed a lack of power. You may have to wait a little while to get them but they are well worth it. No other pipe out there sounds like them. ONLY pipes I'll ever own.

I know I could get a lot more HP and Torque with anything other than my CFR's, but more HP and Torque will never make me smile as much as the sound of my bike EVERY time I fire it up!!!!

The only person you guys have to please is yourselves. If you are happy all that matters.

Awesome pic and sweet color. A friend of mine got the chrome ones fluted on the inside and had that tapped off and black powder coated. Looks killer.

Sweet ride!!! My second choice if I was gonna have another CVO someday would be a skunk and of course one with CFR's.

Poor quality vids by request.   The first one was on I-70 in Kansas somewhere when my brother ran out of gas 1 1/2 miles short of the next exit.
