Radio display

The display on my radio, sometimes locks on a song info, & keeps showing the same info for 3 to 5 diff songs. Dealer switched out the radio last week & it still does it. Also locks on info when using mp3 player. Anyone else ?  >:(

I've had same thing on my '11 SERGU, usually on ipod. Sometimes clears when I manually switch songs, but not always.  No idea how or why.

locks on what audio source?
what MP3 player?
How is it connected?

locks on both, radio or ipod. called dealer this morn to let him know new radio did not fix the prob. he has no idea. i even removed the ipod from system & the radio still did it. ipod is a nano 6th gen. & it is factory installed on CVO's

Yes,and then it will stay that way for maybe 5 or 6 songs.

Sounds like the radio station is not properly transmitting the RDS signal.
Does it do it on every station?

Also does it on MP3.  Not the radio stations cause. Friends bike never does it.
