We had open house today at Bumpus my dealer here in Memphis. It was a beautiful day! I got up at 6am and it was 19 degree's outside! [smiley=nervous.gif] After a pot of coffee I headed out for a 20 minute scoot and enjoyed the brilliant colors of new sunrise. This is my favorite part of the day. Had a nice talk with God Thanking Him for the day he has given me. The rumble of my 103 along with the fantastic array of colors took the bite out of his cold winter air. Thanks Lord! I pulled into Bumpus and see they were just opening the door for employees. Off to the right is a Riders Edge class already into their lesson. I see a O/B Jester parked out by the course, Hey, that's ultrafxr's new Jester. Gotta get a picture of that baby! Sweet scooter Jerry!
By now I realize the coffee has wore off and it's time to make my way inside. Warm greetings from my service manager Tim II and service writer Ricky. My Lil Banana feels special today because it was invited to be displayed in today's open house. Yep, gonna get some pictures of that too!
Got me some hot chocolate and started talking to the mechanics as they were coming in. Hey, there's "Rosey" Brian Rose, my buddy who gave new life to my nana. Best tuner in our area. Whats that in the corner, hey is that another banana? Sure is, it's MJZ's, getting new life, looks pretty sick now but that's OK, Rosey will make er stronger than ever. Woow, Sweet! Nice lookin SEFB! Where are my site cards? I introduce myself to Martin and tells him about this wonderful site. Come to find out his FatBoy is sick and is in need of Doctor Rosey. Sat and talked with Martin and his Buddy for quite a while! Even got to meet his lovely wife Annette. I will have to get a picture of Martin and his scooter! Oh yes, Thank You Lord!!
What is all that clatter??? Hey, it's Ole St. Nick! Wow, I thought he was a fake! Man, look at the smiles on all them kids. He must be the real deal, I gotta get a picture of that! Man all these bells keep ringing and people start yelling and clapping. Is some one messing with Santa's sleigh? Naw, it's the sound of an early Christmas gift for another scooter is sold! Thank Ya Lord!
What's going on in the clothing section, why it's 20% off everything today. Imagine that, I was just thinking about looking for something for my sweet wifey! I better walk away from this section before I loose control!!!!! Oh ya, Thank Ya Lord!
Get back to service dept. and see 2 other scooters sitting next to my Lil Banana. They too have something in common, they have been revived by the same Doctor....Dr. Rosey. I'm gonnna get some pictures of this too!
Well da gum, Isn't that Keith Bumpus, sure is. Half an hour later I realize I'm pooped! Go get my nana and enjoy the 50 degree weather back to the house..... the long way! Yep, my Lil Banana was sure happy today, it was hard keeping her on both feet!
I just Love my dealer! They are family. I want to know how each of em are doing. I such Joy to just sit back in a corner and observe. I just smile watching them go on with their day, Ya know, that's how God is with his Love!! Thank Ya Lord!
