Power lock ignition switch - anyone with personal experience removing and replacing the ignition switch and how to deal with the lock wiring and routing?     

please send a PM so I can ask a few questions on the subject ... I don't think year matters ..  all late models seem to use same parts ... if you done it,  I'm sure you can answer what I need to know ...

I didn't get any responses from anyone on this forum,  so I guess no one has ever removed or installed the power lock ignition switch on this site ...   I did happen to run across on another site where someone posted the pages out of the CVO manual, which answered all my questions  ...   I thought I would post the link in case anyone here ever has to R & R one ..

I actually just did mine last week while doing a bar swap 2 days after your original post. Sorry I missed it but glad you found your answers. IIRC, there's a thread on here where a member talked about doing it. He tied a string onto the wire before removal so he would have a pull string when it came time to reassemble. I stumbled across that using the search function when looking for tips on doing my bar swap.
