Lite/lose throttle?
« on: July 15, 2014, 06:27:45 PM »

OK,...I've thought my throttle grip has always felt lite,...I mean by lite, as it's very easy to twist.
There is no,..how should I say,..no kind of drag,or feel to it. It's sort of hard to describe.
I suppose the best way is on other bikes I've had when twisting the throttle I could feel it opening,..there was the feeling of the grip working against the throttle mechanism or some Resistance against the grip when twisting it.
My grip there's nothing, double OO, I can put my index finger on the grip and roll it open.
The grip returns back to idle no problem.

Is there any kind of adjustment I could do to put some feel into it as I'm opening it.
It's not a big issue but I do find that any sort of wrist movement how ever so slight has an affect.
I would like to feel the throttle opening as well as hearing it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe you don't know your own strength.  :P    Poss one of the springs broke or disconnected?  I wish my was easier to twist, would be nicer to the wrist after a ling day.

Just wonder if your used to a cable.  The fly by wire is a lot different to me as well.

Just wondering if your bike may be fly by wire.  If it is you should ride another bike with the FBW throttle and see if that is it.
