A real safety upgrade was the installation of Kuryakyn panacea tail light and turn signals. This upgrade offers much more visiblity to the rear and looks damn cool too!

Looks nice ezrider4!   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Not used to seeing a 2006 without the Tour Pak. Does look trimmer. 8-)

Very nice ezrider4.  Am I correct when I assume that rear speakers no longer function when you have the tour pak installed?

No, I can plug them in and they work. After the first of the year I plan to install quick connects just below the backrest to make connecting/disconnecting quicker. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

That is great news!  So I guess the only functionality loss is that of the amplifier since it has been removed and the CB when the tour pak is off.  Is that correct, or does the CB not work once you remove the amp and that big a$$ monster friggin' cable, even when you reinstall the tour pak?  Can you tell I'm trying to make an informed decision before I jump off the cliff?  I did the tour pak on my 02 Ultra, but there was no amp with which to worry, and the only reason I lost the CB was because I didn't hook up an antenna with the tour pak off.  It worked when I put the tour pak on and hooked up the antenna.  I can do without the amp, since I'll still have the radio, but I'd really like to keep my CB and intercom when the tour pak is on.

ezrider4, that looks awesome.  I washed my machine today, pre-cold weather.  I plan to start "choppin" over the holidays.  I have an American Ledgend trailer to pull behind so I will be installing a Bush Tech hitch as well.  I may be contacting you (on the pack removal) if approved?  I have the info you sent and I'm ordering the parts.

Yes, the CB still works when the tour pak is on and the antenna coax cable is hooked up. I personally can't tell the difference in radio volume or quality when riding. I'm sure some can but the Harman Kardon radio has plenty of [highlight]amperage [/highlight]to meet my needs.
EZ,
Hope you meant watts :-/ [smiley=nixweiss.gif] instead of amps? [smiley=nervous.gif]

Dont let dealers fool you. It can be done with a little work. Dont forget to get a laydown bracket too from Bullet Boys Big Dave

Big Dave,  that is a great looking Jester CVO Helmut you have there.

Yes, my mistake. Should have read watts of power rather than amps. [smiley=drink.gif]
