I put that chrome solenoid cover on mine and think I may actually go back to the black one. [smiley=shocked2.gif]  The chrome one actually draws more attention to the fact that the rest of the starter is not chrome than if it was all black, IMO.

Actually, the starter is on the list, but I'm saving up for the king tour pack, my dealer is having a 20% day coming up in February.

Always an alterior motive.  I'd go King tour before starter too if I had to make a choice.

If I was going to go with a painted lid, it would be like the one I had on my old ultra.....matching the bike's color with a chrome centerpiece.  Like this:
