I certainly agree on the football, just hides to much of the diamond cuts.

If I'm going to make any major effort in a cover the goal will have to be look good and make the important part behind stand out more.

Terry I had thought that also, but somewhere (again the CRS is showing) this was addressed. I know Grover (Mark) runs his like this and he could probably tell/say more on the subject. As for the dirty filter issue.... well remember who's bike this is on... I doubt that would be an issue. ;) ;D

Here is the A/C Cover I believe Dawg is speaking of...

Personally for me that looks more like an EVO cover [smiley=nixweiss.gif], and would cover some of what I think needs to be exposed (DC & PC) [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Yes DOOD that is the one. I like it but with my Diamond Cut I have no color.

TOOOOO Bad Twolane doesn't like it. Now I will have to wait and see what he come up with. Maybe a change for Punkin is in the near future.

Be Safe

Right now I would change my vote to the SERK air filter lid.  As others have stated,  the football shape which I voted for covers too much of the diamond cut.  Looks like 2lane will definitely be getting a new air filter lid(s).

#1 Choice - SERK3 cover
#2 Choice - the "lid" with exposed element (you can get a prefilter (cover) for the element that improves water resistance, and can be easily removed and cleaned).

Both choices based on exposing as much of the cylinders as possible.

OK my .02, go with the SERK or a tear drop. Keep it chrome! Do NOT paint it to match. This will only take away from the jugs that are the focal point. You want to be able to see the diamond cut without distracting from it. Any thing with an exposed element wouild not be an option. Keep it simple. IMO. AJ
