Paint Codes for a 2009 CVO Ultra
« on: July 22, 2014, 12:45:32 PM »

Does anyone know the paint codes for these colors?
I have 2009 Harley-Davidson FLHTCUSE4 CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide.
Autumn Haze and High Octane Orange with Forge-tone graphics.
Any help would be appreciated.

hoof, go to an automotive paint supply store. They should have them. I wanted to paint my helmet to match the stardust silver on my 09 and the local automotive paint supply store looked it up  and said they could make me up a quart, or make me a spray can full which would have a button on the bottom to release the hardner into the paint when I was ready to use it. At that point I would have 24 hours before the paint would get too thick to be sprayed. The price was $28.00 for the spray can. Since metallic silver is pretty easy to match I opted for the less expensive way out and used Rustoleum "Mettalic" silver.( it has a lot more flake then their regular metallic silver) It matches so closely it was not worth the difference in price. I am not sure what you plan on painting, but if it is something other than the bike itself you may be able to find a close enough match off the shelf. I am sure you can find it. If not get back to me and I will go to my local shop for you and see if they will give me the codes CAHDBIKER

Good Morning!

Thank you, for the reply post. I plan on getting a saddlebag painted, so it is the bike itself.

If your local auto paint supply store does not have the paint codes, and they should, PM me and I will see if my local paint shop will give them out. I think I need some acrylic clean anyways. CAHDBIKER

Hoof, I can swing by the auto paint store next week and ask them if they will give me the codes for your two paint colors, but I don't know what "forge tone graphics" are. Is that a color or a design put on by the factory?CAHDBIKER
