I would opt for a base (non CVO) model and pull the stock engine and upgrade is to an S&S T124. Way beefier than the 120R and has a warranty also.

If interested, my local dealer has 2 CVO Road Kings in stock.

That's great, thanks. I will see what comes out over the next couple of weeks. It looks reasonably straight forward importing to Canada from the US.

Thanks for the advice and views. The price on the SG 120R is a bit salty at the moment, so I am in no rush. Wait and see sounds like the best way to go and then consider alternatives. Let's see what happens!

I see the CVO Road Kings everywhere. I went one dealer that still had one of each color. When I was asking about the Limited they tried to talk me into a Road King.

There is no end to the waiting till the next year ideology because there will always be one. :D I willadmit that i bought late in the model year and had some fear that there will be a "better" one down the road.

I see others working on larger motors like S&S.

FuelMoto is starting to leak pictures of a modified 120 engine they will be selling.

I agree its a struggle to pay that much for HD120 engine when you know it has similar issues as the 110.

Just buy my 2006 Street Glide with a Tman 120 in it that puts 130/130 to the rear tire for $15500 and spend the rest of the money on travel!  LOL.  Spook

Steve are you positive on this? I know the past few years they've dropped the ball on doing this. I hope you're correct because I've got a deposit on the first 2015 my dealer gets. I just don't know what colors are yet.

Dealer show is 3 weeks after Strugis.  Only 2015 unveiled at Sturgis is the 2015 Road Glide Custom, and Road Glide Special.  The rest will be announced at dealer show.

15 Road Glide was there for Demo rides, nice bike, rode it several times.

Official start was yesterday and it ends this Sunday but, people start rolling in a week early and leave a week later. Some prefer to come and ride before and catch the beginning of the show then leave and others do the last weekend of the show then the week after the show. Great place to go ride but going into Sturgis during bike week is a zoo. Lots of parties during the show all around the surrounding area that's for sure.

The way the Motor Company has been going, waiting until the next model year comes out equals more money for a crappier product IMO.

Hey Steve,

I can't wait till the 25th... Do you have any further news on the 2015 model lineup from the Sturgis Rally?

Just wondering.   :nixweiss:

Nothing for sure but from the people I have heard the cat is out of the bag for 2015, the big news was/is the new RG. The rest of the lineup will pretty much be the same as 2014. New paint and such but the RG and the Street are all thats new. So my guess is we will see the regular CVO treatment to the RG along with the current CVO models.
