Where I live everything is flat and straight, so no curvy riding, but had started to notice the rear tire making a modest roaring sound when cornering.  Just got back from a mountain trip and noticed when cornering at higher speeds (say 40 mph +), I'd have a handlebar vibration coming from the front.  The vibration only shows up when cornering.  Bike has 15k miles.  Front tire has 3/32 of tread, back is at 4/32.  These are the original Dunlops.  Inspected tires, could not detect any cupping, tire pressure is correct, etc.  Neither wheel has ever been off, both have the original balance, and original tire weights are still in place.  Never had a bearing go bad...not sure what that would feel like.
