LOOKING FOR PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR
« on: August 09, 2014, 01:48:52 PM »

Hey team....

I am looking for a private investigator in the area of Kentucky and Tennessee.

I have a +5 year old DIVORCE and the X is continually filing law suits against me for things of the past (old vacation pay, old bills she claim she paid and not me, etc). I am paying a bunch in spousal support ordered by the court and she wants more!  I can just make it on my income but the lawsuits are a big pain in the ASH.......  I know she is living with her new man......

I just need to get those details so the court will stop her constant suits.

Any advice, reference, lead on a PI would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

I can't speak from personal experience but shouldn't your lawyer be filing papers to stop her filings and the lawyer's investigator checking on her income and new status etc?
Unless she is out of your area and lawyer's investigator won't work out of area?

Yes...... she is not anywhere near at all.

Hoping someone knows of a great PI in either of those 2 states as that is where I THINK she is.....

I don't have anything that can help you other than to say I feel your pain. The courts should throw out most of those, but don't seem to do what I consider the "right thing". I have no idea how it applies to you but maybe you can consider putting together information to file a harassment case against her? Good luck!

Sorry to hear of your trouble with the ex. I know when me and my ex went through some stuff with her ex court was always held near her so he would have to come from Florida for court and this States laws would apply not Floridas. Just because we lived together the spousal support don't stop, only if she were to remarry would it sotop before the duration ordered by the court. This was true with my cousins divorce too. He got hit with over 800 per month for 5 years,  no child support the kids were with him and no offset for support to him. That's bill too.
We never gave him a hard time although he could've helped a lot more than he did financially. $35.00 per week wasn't dog crap, barely paid what he ate per week never mind all the other costs.
There's no interstate common laws which makes it even tougher.
I would check her state and count laws to see how far they'll let her go, maybe a local to her lawyer could help you better then your current one.
Sorry for rambling.
Either way,
Good luck
