Looking for a way to secure the detachable windshield on my 2013 SERK. The shield just pushes on or off with no spring latch to help hold it on. I've had strong winds blow the detachable windshield off my RKC before with the latch attached. I had to use a zip strip around the spring latch to secure it to the bike. This detachable windshield doesn't even have the spring latch. Any ideas how to accomplish this?  I'm thinking about adding the spring latch by drilling holes in the frame and bolting it on. Then using my zip strip trick to secure it. There must be an easier way?

I'm not aware of any locking mechanism but then I haven't looked real hard either.  I have an 08 SERK with over 75,000 miles on her and I never had one of my windshields come lose, even in some nasty situations.  If you don't have any luck you may want to loosen the nuts holding the hard rubber pieces & rotate them to make it tighter.  If that helps you may have received some defective pieces.  I usually replace mine every couple of years.
