Head question

So, I have been lurking around on the S&S site and noticed they have heads for our granite 110 engines and was wondering if they flow as well, out of the box, as our CVO heads will after having them ported and polished? I'm thinking the price of these new heads would be similar to what it would cost to clean up our stock ones. Below is a link to them.

The untouched S&S casting, does not flow as well as a CVO head that has had some work done to it.
Is the S&S a bad head?...........absolutely not.

why not just have your 110 heads worked? we get 300+ CFM out of 110 heads with new valves,guides & all porting & machining for a lot less than 1300.00

Some shops have untouched good cores that can be worked on an exchange basis.
