This is a Mustang on my Ultra, not a one piece but two. Lowered it about an inch or better.

rleary650, good lookin bike! I have commented on this before. What I did on my 09 was go to a custom seat shop and have my seat contoured to exactly meet my needs. I am 5'9" and even with good upper body strength it was a little dicey at some intersections with luggage and back seat rider. If you seat is heated it can still be done. Granted I left the passenger part of the seat alone, but the total for custom contouring of the riders seat and installing a gel pad was $450.00. Now both feet are flat on the ground even with tennis shoes. I am sure that is a lot less than a new custom seat. Just  returned from another 3k vacation with no complaints about my seat. I hope this info can help you save some money.CAHDBIKER

Mustang Vintage, I feel your pain I'm 5'7". I recently installed the Legend Air suspension, on the fly adjustment makes it a pretty sweet set-up.

bike has air shocks already, just dont like the seat. it does have heated seat but not concerned about keeping it cuz in winter I wear so many layers its not needed. $450 to have seat redone is too pricey would rather just spend $300 for the mustang daytripper but thanks

DICKW, I think your seat looks great. I was just trying to save the guy some money since it worked out so well for me. Ride Safe. CAHDBIKER

releary360, I had no idea you could purchase a new seat for only $300.00. I guess I am used to HD prices. With that in mind I would definitely go with the new seat. It looks great on DICKW's bike. My original seat was very comfortable even though it was the "Hammock Style" seat. I just need it to be contoured because at 5'9" it was a little too tall, especially when you stop at an intersection that has a hump in the middle and detents where are the cars wheels have stopped.CAHDBIKER
