replaced the headlite plug today it had started to melt from constant high beam on  ,now the dash indicator stayes on and gets brighter when i turn on highbeams   or did forget that's how it is suppose to be  i checked all the fuses they are good  have used 3 diffrent bulbs with the same result  yellow wire to top of plug white to left and black to right side of terminals on the plug   same results

No, should not be that way.  Check the ground.

got it my wife has been telling me I am color blind  she is right yellow wire to white wire  makes things blurry
