No doubt a good idea, Breeze.  Let's start shipping all our old pipes directly to Twolane.  With a little luck, they'll be there for Christmas.

As far as my experimenting with pipes...I don't...every bike gets a set of Rineharts whether they like 'em or not.

Actually,

On another site I suggested an exchange trial program.
One guy even thought of starting a business where you rent mufflers for folks to try, and buy.

I'm running FullSacs. but want to try SPOs.
Anyone willing to test swap?

THAT's what I'm talkin' about!  I have hookers on the way,  I would also like to try a set of the SPO's.  I will also have a set of SE Pro's to add to the mix in a few weeks.

And they look funny too!  but I hear they sound and perform great...  I'm just worried I'll drag 'em off...     You can always polish them if you want them shiny-er-ish   ::)    Any body got a pair they'll loan me or trade me?

I am looking at the SPOs also and asked a tech at S&S about ground clearance with them and he said there is no problem. He also recomended using the stock headers for best performance vs. true duals.

Hoist, if you end up with both the SPOs and the V&H Ovals does that mean you can combine the two and get 4 years worth of warranty to have to live within; or would it still be just two

As far as my experimenting with pipes...I don't

I used to be that way.  That was a nice place to be too.  A tuning God named John Golden had for years recommended the old White Brothers E Series for baggers.  I liked the look of them too.  And they did work as well as advertised.  So never even had to think about it.  On any touring bike when true duals and a pair of E Series.

Then about the same time I got the red bike Tommy White had sold the company.  Marketing decisions were made to go back to their dirt bike roots by new ownership.  And I ended up getting one of the very last sets of E Series available in the entire country at that time.

But sometime they'll have to be replaced.  Then will have to figure out what is "best for me" all over again.  Actually, screw it; I'll just ask John Golden again.

Oh no, let him renegotiate a new deal, and have to suffer longer w/a stock bike!!! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Ride Safe,
Fired00d
 [smiley=fireman.gif]

d00d, I'm good with the deal. No renegotiation required. I was referring to additional years after I finish the first two. Additional years after initial enlistment is completed, is subject to renegotiation!
