I Pod pisses me off!

So when you are motoring along listing to your tunes and you stop for
a beverage break how can you get back to that song without the I pod
starting back at the first song in the playlist?

It's gonna happen no matter what.  I've noticed that if I turn off my radio before turning the bike off at each stop, when I start back and power the radio back on, it's more likely to start back where it stopped.  Doesn't always work but what I'm doing now seems to limit the frustration.  I actually started doing this because if I left the radio on during starts/stops, the iPod would stop working altogether and I would have to re-seat it.  Since I've adopted turning off the radio, it's not frozen again (plus I tossed my iPod mini and installed my old iPhone 4S which made a world of difference, too) and it seems to remember where we left off.....

Mine was doing that then the NIM died the dealer replaced it under warranty but now I notice I have to turn on the ipod start it on iTunes then plug it in or it won't start at all at least this way it starts at the song I was last playing, not sure how it's actually supposed to work.

I had that problem and sometimes it wouldn't't synch up. I now shut the radio off before turning the engine off. Probably restarts on the song I was listening too 70 percent of the time and synchs almost all the time.

That is the exact reason why I installed the splitter and loaded my music onto the GPS on an SD card. the Ipod kept driving me nuts always starting at the first song.

Now I hear my music flawlessly, I can search by artist, album or song, create playlists still and it never loses its place! The GPS still interrupts the music no matter if I am on CD, AM, FM, AUX or Ipod.

Thank you. That's going to help a bunch. Never thought to shut it off
