I think you're going to have to give us a little more to go on than that Joe.  What rotors exactly for instance, and what damage exactly.  Any photo's?

So yes heat obviously. 

But I did such a technical install checking and double checking measurements.  After install a few test rides where I checked the temps. 

I then went on a mountain pass ride heading into a sharp curve to hot, oh shet no rear brakes and paranoids as he'll about the front composites.

Factor brakes back on all the way around, no issues.  It took me quite a while to clean that caliper up, but it was salvaged.  The rear wheel is gonna need replacing as that hot molten lava sat on there ruining the finish.

I've never seen anything like that in my life, and couldn't begin to try to tell you what may have caused it.  I'm assuming you used the Red or Gold + pads that they call for with the ceramic rotors.  You need to contact the folks at Lyndall and see what they have to say.  I would expect them to at least ask you to send a sample of what's left for analysis.  The rotors carry a lifetime warranty when used with their pads, and if it turns out there was a manufacturing defect that caused this, they should also step up to fix the wheel as well.  Check the fine print.

The dealer is stepping up and refunding me the money, which I sent everything back to them.  Yes the manufacturer should do something about my other expenses.  Which is part of my frustration as they are not answering still waiting on the owner to contact me.

I swear, with all the tribulations you've gone through with that bike I'd be starting to think I'd been cursed by a practitioner of black magic or something.

Yes me and this skunk certainly have seen it all.  I guess skunk is more literal in my case.  But I think the bike is straightened out now (knock on mahogany).  Changed out the Monotubes, that were shot after 4k miles to the Ohlin's.  HD got the electrical gremlins out.  Put new tires on it and changed the front wheel bearings.

Not from the manufacturer, I am expecting to here from the owner middle of next week....

The folks at GR Customs are going to refund me for the rotors.  But I am expecting a bit more from the manufacturer for my other expenses.

Like my wheel, shipping cost gas money for my buddy to come pick me up new pads.....

Paul from Lyndall has not replied yet, despite many promises from their person answering phones and emails.   They have not been supportive at all and it took several phone calls to them before they would even acknowledge me.  They said oh we thought you sorted it out with GR Customs.  My reply was no not entirely and that is why I have been continuing to attempt to get a response from you guys.
