Paul from Lyndall has not replied yet, despite many promises from their person answering phones and emails.   They have not been supportive at all and it took several phone calls to them before they would even acknowledge me.  They said oh we thought you sorted it out with GR Customs.  My reply was no not entirely and that is why I have been continuing to attempt to get a response from you guys.

I'm getting to know Paul and Jill myself.  I ordered Gold+ brake pads from them six weeks ago.  I've gotten "you'll have them in two weeks" three times now...  Good thing I ordered them well before I actually need them.   :nixweiss:

Just received my Gold Plus that I ordered back at the beginning of July, every phone call and e-mail was "should be ready to ship out in two weeks". Like you, I ordered then well before I would need them but I was getting a bit concerned that they wouldn't get here before the trip down to Maggie Valley - almost went to the dealer for stock pads, just in case....  I'm thinking EBC next time because this is actually the SECOND time this has happened -- Brings to mind that saying about "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice - shame on me"

Well it has been three weeks and not a peep from Lyndall...

I am thinking about filing a report with the DMV and BBB.  Any thoughts on if this is worth it?

Lyndall might be investigating it now, and they need some time, but they should report back to you.  Definitely a safety issue.  Maybe let Lyndall know you are considering filing a report with National Highway Traffic Safety Admin (https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/) and the others. If Lyndall says they are investigating, get a case number and person to contact. Ask for weekly or biweekly updates.  Then file with NHTSA at above link.

Let us know what happens.

They are probably clamming up for fear of potential liability issues (or taking the time to try to hide assets / leave the country lol)

Since you're asking...I would first contact a California Attorney versed in these matters to see what my options are.
I'd give Lyndall a total of a month, if they didn't reply and reimburse $$ for all their products, your rim, caliper, towing, labor etc... then NHTSA, DMV, BBB, and whomever else that I could get to take an interest would be contacted.

After all, brakes can be important at times...

Damn, I've used them and liked them. Hate the OEM dust, after every ride. Time to have some pads in hand will need to change out before too long. I'm scared now  :o  WHICH PADS SHOULD I CONSIDER :nixweiss:

So I thought I would contact the seller to see if Lyndall had contacted them about the issue.

The seller say, no they are totally ignoring him as well.  He also said he cannot even get Lybdall products because of this.

What customer services, I hope they go down in flames.

So last night I called Lyndall and spoke with Paul. First off he is arrogant and just ridiculous to deal with.

He basically said could I prove in a court of law that his rotors were defective. Then he went on to say he would replace the rotor. I said that would be good for his vendor but not for me. He refused to pay anything in terms of reimbursements for my extended cost due to the melt down.

Paul said he got an attitude about the whole thing when The vendor called him on a Sunday about what had happened. Paul stated he knew he was being a A-Hole. I agreed with him.

I hope he squares Aaron away at GR Customs, who did me right from the beginning. Doubtful.
