Yeah, We just got a new fund to draw from for our extras. We both quit smoking. About 6 mos. for me and a year for her. That's about an extra $5K at NYC cig. prices. So I don't mind havin' a little fun with the bike. As long as I keep that 2 Year Warranty!

Nice job on the tourpak... matches the paint nicely. Can't say I care much for all the P&A add-ons but that's just me. I'm kinda a "less is more" CVO owner (except for performance stuff).

Congrats Hoist, you'll get a lot more out of those lungs than a 2 year warranty would provide them since you have now quit.

Thanks Rog. Maybe now I'll be around long enough to see the end of that 2 Year Warranty!

That tour pack looks great!
That's the way it should be done.

Not much of a fan of the wide whitewalls on a dresser though.

 [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I couldn't agree with you more.

That bike looks sweet. With the exception of the white walls.

Really sweet job matching the paint color and the scheme on the tour-pak!  It certainly looks factory perfect in the photos!  I guess having a king tour-pak on my SEEG, I do tend to prefer that look on an Electra Glide, but at the same time, I agree with a lot of what Terry said about the leather tour-paks, too.  As a lot of the guys before me have said, it just boils down to personal preference and if your buddy was wanting a painted 'pak for his SEUC, he accomplished his goal in style! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Not a criticism, just an observation, but one thing I noticed is the speaker pods from the leather tour-pak were re-used.  They have a subtly different shape than the ones that come on a regular Ultra with a king tour-pak.  I always wondered how they would mate up if swapped, and in fact, almost purchased some that I found a deal on awhile back thinking I'd be able to use them to add rear speakers on my SEEG, eventually.  But in the photos, they do not appear to have as integrated a fit as the ones that are used on the king tour-paks from the factory.  There's some gap between the passenger backrest that is normally not there and the boxes are not rounded on top like a regular Electra Glide's.

Might should have swapped those out, too, for a somewhat cleaner look, but still a really nice job on the whole. [smiley=drink.gif]

Hey guys, glad you all liked the bike. I would post a list of add ons but it is too long.
Blair, I hope the owner is going to Nelson but that is a long way off.
Roger, the job is really good. I get to play with Harleys all day. How can you beat that.
Ya, there is a bunch of "babysitting" involved. You would know what service department guys are like.
Believe it or not, the owner is not in the Oil business.

Here is the best part, his buddy has a Red/Black one coming soon and he has a shopping list just as long.

Did anyone catch the custom wheels, brakes or the chrome starter or the chrome inner primary or...or...or....

Later,

Brad

PS. These guys are waiting to see what I do to the engine on my bike before they jump in. Man, talk about pressure.........
