I have and '11 CVO SG and it's not going anywhere after seeing that price tag!!!! Fits me perfect......I guess I will put those new tires on it and do some motor work over the winter and keep riding it......

The new RG looks nice--now my '11 is dated.  Think I'll keep it, though.

You think you guys have it tough with the price, add another $8000 on to each of those stickers and you'll have the Canadian retail price. It sucks to live in the best Country!!
$48000 for a Ultra, give me a break. I'll be keeping this old girl for a while longer or just head south and deal it on one of your used Ultra's! Well worth the paper work for that kind of money.
They sure are sweet though.

Still don't see anything that makes me want to park Betsy. I really liked last years cvo road kings better than these, especially at 36 k for a street glide.

Disappointed

I don't remember this much fuss about the price last year.  :confused5:

The limited has increased $350. Have we finally reached the magic line Harley has been seeking? When you think what kind of truck could be bought for the same money and how much technology comes on said truck it makes me think more than twice for sure.

As others have stated, I'll have to see them in person first to make my final decision.

I find it amusing that the CVO SG doesn't even come with a rider sissy bar and backrest for 36.3k. So for that money I get a bike without a tour pak, no passenger backrest, and a whopping 4 speaker, 75 watt stereo? I think you would have to really look hard at buying the CVO Limited. For me, that's just not a bike that fits my short inseam. I think the pictures never do the new bikes justice and I have a feeling the CVO SG is really going to pop in the sun.

With all the issues HD has had in the quality department, especially with the 110 engine, it sure is funny how we keep paying these huge premiums on these bikes every year. I'm going to do my part and tell them to suck it this year. Ruby stays.

2015 CVO SG: $36,349
2010 CVO SG: $30,999

$5,350 difference, or a 17.26% price increase from 2010 (How many forum members got a 17.26% salary raise over the last 5 yrs?  Just curious.)

I think HD might have priced themselves out of the market this year.  Over $36 for a CVO SG is crazy!  We, the public, will have to to let them know they made a mistake.  >:(

I thought the same thing.  The RGU is approaching the price of a King Ranch F150.

To rich for me. I'm gonna try and trade the CVO Road King on a new Limited. Is that wrong trading a CVO for a regular  bike?

I'm tired of dumping all that $$$$ into a new bike just to spend 5k to get it to where I want it, then start over again. I really starting to think 10k in paint, and 10k in the motor and I'll have the best of everything without giving HD anymore of my money. Jus sayin. :coolblue:

I corrected your post DickW.
Leave that paint alone!
I don't have an issue giving Harley any money as long as it's through Harley Davidson of Charlotte.
I guess I'm just getting old but give me a good bike, decent stereo and a Garmin GPS and I'm good.
As we all know, our 110's can be a challenge and since the big hit (purchase of the bike) is over money can be set aside to do to the 110's what should have been done from the factory. Besides, I'm of the opinion that my 11.5 SEUC and 12 SERGC colors are a combination that have yet to be duplicated.

Well, technically, that's a 3.3% raise per year for the last 5 years. So, I'm betting many of us got that. Still, these prices are getting out of hand!

No sir. We haven't gotten more then 2.6% since the economy tanked in 2008 and that has been wiped out by cost of living increases and our insurance premiums increasing on thinning coverage.

Try Progressive. I've had the exact coverage for 5 years now and my premiums have gone down every year. Raises here have been much better but I'm in the Chicago market.
