At those prices my 2011 Street Glide wont lose much value. Thats a big gap in price between new vs used.

I'm tired of dumping all that $$$$ into a new bike just to spend 5k to get it to where I want it, then start over again. I really starting to think 10k in paint, and 10k in the motor and I'll have the best of everything without giving HD anymore of my money. Jus sayin. :coolblue:

I will say that Street Glide does look sweet ;D

Agree- that street glide looks sweet.
Several of the paint schemes are pretty impressive, but there are a few that make me wonder....

Personally, they put the blacked out engine on the wrong SG models. They Silver/Black one would be sweet with black engine.

I think I am with you Dick. I really like the new Ultra RG and the color selection though it's hard to tell which is best with those flat pictures on the HD site. Hell, the Blue looks best in the flat colors. I have to figure that the red and orange pop when you get them in the sun.

With that said, I have invested a ton-o-$$ in my 2011 FLTRUSE and I just don't want to go through that on top it all.

$39650
Tax, Title, License
Extended Warranty
Header Pipe, maybe new baffles
HD Tuner
Suspension (??? They claim a better front end.. but that backend looks like the same dealie-o)
Handlebars (??? Another promise of improvement)

Plus I won't even talk about the backend, lack of extended bags and such that I modified on my bike)

I've always been saying that I would put 100k mi on my '11. With 55k mi on her now and 3 more years to go on my 7 yr warranty, I think I will just keep on riding my '11.

Ya, the Street Glide does look pretty good but not nearly good enough to make me part with my '12........I know I've got way more than 36 & change in it but there is no way I'm starting over.

CVO Limited  $39,349
CVO Street Glide $36,349
CVO Road Glide $39,649
CVO Softail $28,999

Plus shipping, tax and license and anything else they can slip in your not getting out the door for under $40K on anything but a Softail!

IIRC, back in '11 the RGU was $1k cheaper than the Batwing Ultra. Now it's $300 more.

yeah i'm sorta walking backward on the RGU at the moment. I think we like the Gold Limited better, but as said previously, have to see them in person first. The HD site pictures never do the bikes justice.

Shouldn't be hard plenty of trailer queens will trade theirs in now.

Yea, I'm thinking so. Lot of CVO SG owners in NE don't put a lot of miles on their bikes. Last one I was waiting for a guy to trade in only had 3200 and he had the thing decked out, he backed out though.
