Here in Australia at least , the 2014's have not sold anywhere nearly as well as the 2013's

partly the " Harley Hype " , NEW model etc etc...big waiting lists and a $5K deposit to get on it

I expressed an interest at my local dealer in one , where I have been buying new Harleys since 1995 , and when they gave me the "$5K deposit and you can't choose a colour speech" I told them to " take a flying foxtrot ! "

10 months later I bought a used one owner bike privately from the first owner for 10K less than he had paid ! ( A sign of the economic times !!)

Bike had 6,300 K's , and 1800 Pro-upgrade kit and Freedom performance true duals. Diamond Black and metal grind

The 2014's arrived post hype , into the same relatively depressed economy , in Colours " less attractive " ( rightly or wrongly , that's the word around the campfire , the 2013's had "better" or more attractive paintwork !)

That's why there are 2014's available off the showroom floor all over Australia , no $5K deposit and no 6 month wait

The 2013's were hard as hell to find, but the 14's don't seem to be selling well at all.  Have spoken  with many dealerships and not only breakouts but many other CVO models as well (as many of you have seen on the forum).  Regarding the Breakout in particular, I think the paint problems have really scared a lot of people away.  I know I am constantly checking for rust on the two I haveI know they didn't use Gunslinger for the 14's, but the idea is still out there.

Now that's COOL!!

They did use Gunslinger to paint the 2014's. My friend needed a new tank for his blue '14 CVO Breakout and it came from Gunslinger. I'm not going to swear this to be true but, I believe Gunslinger paints most if not all CVO's. I may be misinformed but that's what I was told. One other note, I live in FL and I never saw a CVO Breakout sit on a dealership floor, if it was For Sale, it Sold within a couple of days.

Fantasic news that they stopped the CVO Breakout.  Baggers are not the biggest sellers here, Softails are more popular and HD has flooded us with Breakouts as they are now the best selling Heavy Bike in Aust with 600 units sold in the first half of 2014. As for the 2014 CVO Breakouts many dealers have bikes still in showrooms and if you like the Blue ones you could get a deal as the last 3 dealers I've been to all have blue cvo breakouts ready to go.

Awesome! What should I list my bike for and when do you guys think? Black and orange 14' 3700 miles d&d low cat with s.e. tuner.

I bought my bike hoping they wouldn't do a 15' and it would retain it's value quite well. Love it when a plan comes together

You mean you bought it with the intention to sell quickly??  You should ride the crap out of it first!

I bought it hoping I would have an easy exit when I wanted to sell it and not take a major ass kicking in depreciation. It's been a fun time with it for sure.

I'm not sure where you're getting your info, but H-D DOES NOT list a 2015 CVO Breakout in the USA or anywhere else.  If you bought something a dealer claimed was a 2015 CVO Breakout, you may want to go have a talk with your attorney, as well as the attorney general of your state.

There are four CVO models for 2015, the Street Glide, the Limited, The Road Glide Ultra, and the Softail Deluxe.  That's it.

Sounds like a customized 2015 Breakout or a 2014 CVO Breakout.

When you read the other posts of this Guy you see that he is asking the difference between a 103 and 110 Engine :P .
He has bought a "CVO" with a 103 engine, :bananarock: :bananarock:
